Chelsey “Peanut” Pagana


Chelsey is a 2011 graduate of Penn State University where she majored in Kinesiology (Fitness Studies). As an undergrad, Chelsey was an athlete on the Penn State Boxing team, and worked as a fitness instructor at the campus’ gyms. Penn State gave Chelsey the opportunity for advancement in exercise in her academics, career experience, and varsity sport commitment.

After graduation, Chelsey decided to take her exercise expertise to the Big Apple. Working with celebrities and other high profile clientele, Chelsey worked as a trainer at the famous David Barton Gym. While maintaining a full time clientele in personal training, she continued her mastery in group instruction teaching classes such as cycling, yoga, Pilates, circuit/interval training, muscle conditioning and more.

Earning a positive reputation in the city, Chelsey caught the attention of Nike NYC. A Nike Women’s trainer, Chelsey has instructed exclusive workouts to participants in locations such as Met Life Stadium, Union Square, and Chelsea Piers. Chelsey currently teaches regular Nike Training Club workouts at Nike stores in New York.

In the Fall of 2012, Chelsey decided to pursue her other life passion: cooking. She enrolled as a student at The International Culinary Center, NYC. This intensive Italian program allowed her the opportunity to study abroad in Italy for half a year. Chelsey was offered an internship in Milan at the world famous gastronomic market & restaurant, Peck. During this time, Chelsey was also invited to train for Nike becoming a key component of the Nike Italia initiative to inspire women in fitness. Chelsey led regular Nike Training Club workouts to prominent female professionals in Milan, all while studying to become a chef.

Chelsey now trains clients privately and also operates as a private chef. Chelsey developed FIGO with the intention to inspire her ideals and lifestyle to others. With FIGO meaning “cool” in Italian slang, she strives to live her life cool by staying healthy: move and challenge the body daily and eat fresh, unprocessed foods in moderation! Discipline yields glory!
